IT & Systems Administrator

Main roles and responsibilities

Position summary

The IT & Systems Administrator is responsible for the successful management and maintenance of all systems, platforms, IT projects, and hardware within the business. You will be responsible for supervision and implementation of all the company’s needs, within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
Reporting to the Directors/Senior Management of the company, you will be playing an integral role within the company’s ongoing growth and success.

Main roles & responsibilities

IT


• Management and maintenance of all systems within the company.
• Ongoing development of company IT infrastructure.
• Sourcing and coordination of new user set-up.
• Training of users in systems.
• Design, develop, implement systems, policies and procedures.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organisational policy.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Merchant account management and PCI compliance.
• Improving company reporting and data analysis systems.
• Ensuring security of all systems and websites.
• System integrations and improvements to increase efficiency.
• Domain renewals and management.
• Tracking of inventory and status for hardware and software throughout the organisation
• Overseeing external resource as agreed.
• Management and development of business system Infrastructure

Projects


• Management and delivery of projects as briefed by Directors.
• Documentation of all processes within the business for preparation of ISO.
• Maintain and create, tutorials to assist with the training of staff.
• Assist in other areas of the business as required.

Key experience & qualifications required


• 3 years experience within an IT role.
• Knowledge of business analytics and reporting packages, suchlike PowerBi.
• Experience of company IT systems in particular ERP packages would be an advantage.
• Experience using cloud based software and O365 environment.
• Knowledge of API;s, would be an advantage.
• A project management qualification would be an advantage.
