PROJECTS & EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR

FULL TIME - ANDOVER, HAMPSHIRE - UP TO £26,000

ROLE SUMMARY

The Projects & Events Co-ordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Manager and other managers within the business to deliver key projects and events on time and to plan.

This role is key in supporting our growth objectives and ensuring delivery on time and with seamless integration with new and existing processes within the business. 

The role has four main areas of responsibility:

- Key project co-ordination & support for the Project Manager

- Support of NPD projects

- Event co-ordination for the sales & marketing team

- Director support for event & travel requirements

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work closely with the Project Manager to co-ordinate & deliver projects & key business initiatives on time

- Assist the Project Manager and other managers to help ensure project deliverables are seamlessly integrated within the team

- Work closely with the Project Manager to assist in developing business cases for innovative NPD projects

- Support with the market research & due diligence on projects as required

- Work closely with the Project Manager & our manufacturers to set up & track the progress of NPD projects

- Work closely with the sales & marketing team to co-ordinate the delivery of HGI’s own events, as well as HGI’s exhibition stand at trade shows

- Proactively co-ordinate the project team and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are hit

- Provide administrative support for the project team

- Work closely with the Board of Directors to co-ordinate travel and event requirements, such as booking accommodation, venues, and transport
