Main roles and responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY


The Finance & Admin Assistant is responsible for the day to day financial transactions and administration within the business, also providing key support where required to other areas of the business.
Working across our esteemed portfolio including the acclaimed IS Clinical Cosmeceutical brand, Déesse LED phototherapy mask, Revitalash and Totally Derma nutraceutical.

This position is required to start immediately.


MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


• Track and reconcile bank statement lines (payments & receipts)
• Updating financial spreadsheets
• Issuing Customer Statements
• Chasing and taking customer payments.
• Processing refunds and credit notes
• Inputting/processing invoices for customers and suppliers
• Submitting invoices for approval
• Processing employee expenses
• Assisting with Payroll
• Creating Non-Stock purchase orders
• Assisting with reconciliation of trial balance
• Making payments via bacs
• Maintaining company financial records between our business systems.
• Filing of key documents
• Maintaining Invoice & Trade Finance transactions
• Maintaining finance email inbox
• Assisting with inbound telephone calls.
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Assisting with month end and year end finalisation
• Assisting the Finance Supervisor as required


ADMIN SUPPORT

• Supporting other areas of the business as required


KEY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED


• At least 2 years’ experience as a Finance Assistant or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel Skills (Creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero).
• Organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail, and an ability to spot numerical errors.
• AAT Qualified or working towards a qualification
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
• Demonstration of autonomous working style.
• Great communication skills with colleagues at all levels
• Strong Professional & Presentation standards.
• Experience with Invoice Finance and Trade Finance is desirable, but not essential.
• Ability to work in a home-based environment, with periodic meetings at our HQ in Andover.
