POSITION SUMMARY
The Global Brand & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing high-impact communication strategies & activations that reinforce the brand’s luxury image, technological innovation, and results driven experiences and outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, strategic thinking and a deep understanding of branding, marketing, and public relations, supporting the company’s dynamic & omni channel go-to-market strategy to promote a portfolio of synergistic offerings, products and services within the luxury aesthetics and wellbeing sector.
This role focuses on creating and crafting a cohesive and compelling brand narrative across all touchpoints, ensuring the brand resonates with our target audiences and drives engagement in both traditional and digital platforms.
This high-energy role will see you directing and leading the Déesse PRO LED Light Therapy brand campaigns and communications across all channels, underpinned by robust analysis and engagement insight both online & offline to ensure strong profile and awareness build, driving customer engagement and acquisition and loyalty in trade & consumer.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Strategy & Positioning:
- Develop and execute brand communication strategies that position the brand as a leader in both the consumer & trade sectors
- Identify & consolidate communication pillars to resonate with target audiences
- Ensure the luxury essence, innovative technology & results are seamlessly integrated into all brand messaging, content, and campaigns
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to ensure the brand’s unique value proposition is reflected consistently in all communications and brand experience
Luxury Brand Messaging & brand materials:
- Craft and refine brand messaging that communicates the brand's premium quality, sophistication, and cutting-edge technology
- Ensure all content & brand activation (digital, print, in-store, etc.) aligns with the luxury positioning and maintains high standards of elegance and exclusivity
- Oversee the evolution of brand materials from conception of new brand identity to
actively live in markets ensuring the brand DNA and aesthetic integrity
is upheld and they are effective in supporting brand vision and objectives
- Ensure global markets uphold the brand positioning in their communications
Global Brand Campaign & Communications ownership:
- Collaborate with all channels & stakeholders to deliver a global communications plan and tools within a timely manner
- Plan and execute global integrated marketing and communication campaigns
- Identify key objectives, target segments, audience personas, messaging, channels and tactics for each campaign
- Develop seasonal and event-based campaigns (e.g., product launches, exclusivity events, beauty tech expos) that appeal to both beauty enthusiasts and tech aficionados as well as targeting trade & enforce positioning
Oversee the segmentation & targeting of consumer & trade databases to ensure the right message lands with the right audience in right mechanic
- Oversee development of campaign briefs, timelines and budgets, ensuring deadlines and budget constraints are met across team
Public Relations & Media Strategy:
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry leaders in both the beauty and tech sectors.
- Secure high-quality media placements in luxury, beauty, and technology
publications, ensuring positive and consistent coverage & D2C success.
- Manage press releases, media events, and press kits, ensuring the brand’s voice is clearly articulated across all PR channels
Brand Experience:
- Manage the proposition of brand activations, pop-up events, and product launches that reinforce the luxury and tech-forward image.
- Develop a brand proposition (promotions & GWP) for consumers that excites & drives sales on D2C and upholds the luxury and aspirational positioning
- Support NPD process with cutting edge omni channel brand equity in line with solid brand guidelines to support success of launches
- Deploy process to monitor and uphold all brand standards across all local and global partners and ensure access of our materials is both appropriate and easy for distributors & stakeholders to access
- Ensure all brand partnerships & events are deployed to best practice to uphold positioning and brand identity
- Drive development of brand elevating POS to showcase and inspire purchase
- Identify ways in order to exceed customer expectations at every point of
journey
Community & Social Media Management:
- Agree & sign off on community communication & activation strategy
- Oversee the development of high-end content (photoshoots, videos, blog posts, etc.) that aligns with the brand’s identity and speaks to a luxury
audience
- Oversee the brand's presence across social media platforms, ensuring that each post and campaign speaks to the high-net-worth/ tech-savvy beauty
consumer
- Oversee the creation and management of influencer partnerships to elevate brand presence and trust within luxury beauty communities with social team
Market Research & Trend Monitoring:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to
continuously refine and improve our communication strategies
Internal Brand Alignment:
- Inspire internal teams (sales, customer service, etc.) to be strong brand
ambassadors who can communicate the brand’s story & selling proposition
- Ensure that all internal communications reflect the same high standards of
luxury and technology as external-facing messages
Budget Management:
- Plan, monitor and control spend associated with brand & communications
management
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in brand communications, public relations, or
marketing, preferably within the luxury, beauty, or technology industries
- Experience working in beauty tech or high-end skincare is highly preferred
- A proven track record of managing luxury brand communications across
digital and traditional media platforms
Skills:
- Strong understanding of luxury marketing and consumer behaviour
& personas
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the
ability to craft compelling narratives that reflect the brand’s luxury
and technological focus.
- Highly creative with keen eye for design and attention to detail in
visual work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will represent our brand in various public forums, events, and media
engagements.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of luxury brand aesthetics and
messaging
- Results-driven and capable of measuring the effectiveness of brand
communication campaigns
- Responsive and adaptive to changing workloads, timelines and outputs
required due to the high growth trajectory of the brand
- Ability to thrive in a fast-pace environment
