NATIONAL RETAIL MANAGER

Main roles and responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

This newly created role requires an experienced and exceptionally driven individual who will be responsible for exploring and securing suitable strategic retail partners to increase our consumer reach whilst developing and deploying retail activity to drive brand awareness and revenue within our existing retail estate. Maximising brand visibility through in-store premium locations and instore activations will be essential to engage and educate consumers, converting them to become brand advocates.

This role boasts ownership of the retail market including the Omni channel execution, embedding the delivery of a luxury retail sales experience during all points of contact with consumers. As the appointed guardian of retail the key responsibilities will include the delivery of retail sales inline with forecasts and targets, ensuring all retail sales teams have adequate product training and our visual representation is of a superior standard, aligned with brand guidelines.

We have ambitious retail expansion plans and are looking for a seasoned leader to take our business to the next level, establishing, building and nurturing strategic retailer partnerships alongside identifying new commercial opportunities and negotiating best in class support to optimise our brands in store and online.

Working with a luxury result driven portfolio, featuring the highly esteemed cosmeceutical brand; iS Clinical, physician developed RevitaLash Cosmetics, coveted LED therapy brand Déesse Pro & Totally Derma nutraceuticals, the successful candidate will be an integral force behind the ongoing growth of our leading portfolio within the retail sector.

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, establish, and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholder at all levels from the Buying and Merchandising teams to Marketing and instore teams to gain brand awareness and visibility, providing an exemplary experience for the consumer.

• Develop and manage joint business plans with all retailers to maximise calendar activity (including all activations) in store and online
• Lead the process of commercial negotiations on terms, pricing, distribution and marketing support packages to ensure long term mutually beneficial partnerships are upheld.
• Manage monthly account accruals and retrospective retailer discounts with close monitoring and understanding of invoice management.
• Provide the business with annual sales forecasts by account, supporting the management of inventory and assortment success.
• Continuously monitor, report on , and optimise our performance across the HGI portfolio.
• Define a rolling annual plan outlining PR, marketing, eventing and education opportunities with the focus on recruiting new consumers and generating loyalty.
• Develop in retail treatment experiences to build on brand results where applicable.
• Target, connect and inspire new retail partners with our luxury brand positioning in line with the company’s vision.
• Uphold all brand standards, sales & contractual obligations by brand.
• Develop and deliver weekly/monthly retail tracking reports to update key stakeholders on performance and opportunities.

EXPERIENCE & KEY SUCCESS CRITERIA

• At least 4yrs experience in a National Account Manager/National Retail role ideally within luxury beauty
• Commercially driven and target driven
• Proven ability to drive sales and implement strategies to deliver a plan
• Proven track record for overachieving & growing market penetration across a portfolio of brands
• Confident and experienced with high level negotiations.
• Highly numerical with excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Presenting to potential partners with an engaging and confident manner
• Clean driving license
